EDIT: I googled myself (shuturrrp, you do it too) and apparently I got featured in an article on artvarsity.com for this design: [link] :nerd:

Awesome design, the only issue i see is that its a little difficult to expand vertically. although not impossible. Has it been coded into HTML? i would love to see the final live website

What did you use to make this? I love it, and I'd like to put a viewer like that into my own website.

I made the template in Photoshop, then exported the jpegs in slices. Pieced together the slices in an html table, then used CSS coding to make the div-layer scrolling box with all the thumbnails. Coded from scratch (Dreamweaver gives me hives) in MS Notepad.

The pop-up gallery viewer is a lightbox javascript I got from somewhere (Scriptalicious?), I don't remember. Tons of lightbox scripts out there, though, you just have to google and you'll find a plethora :)

Why tables? why not DIVs+CSS?

I don't remember; there was some solution tables provided that I can't recall. This was like three years ago, and the last website I've made since. A mystery lost to the annals of time :S

Grr. I just wrote a long reply to this that got deleted. Anyhow, thanks for the advice! Your website is really beautiful and I hope I can get mine anywhere near as nice.

Oh goodness I wish I knew anything about code. Last time I coded something I was curled up in a little ball by the end of it. I'll try to work something out with Dreamweaver, since that's what I've been using already. I hope I can get it to look even close to as beautiful as yours. So each page of yours is a jpg that you pieced together with code? Like, fully create the page minus the lightbox space as a jpg, and then use code to make buttons and stuff?
