I don't know much about that movie in particular but I somehow own "Sixteen Candles". It was one of those pop culture classics that had to be in the collection to show my girls "what we used to watch when we were growing up". Along with "Summer School", "The Breakfast Club", "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" and the likes of such silliness that we endured as teenagers.
